JENNIFER RASMUSSEN-SAGAN

JRS Consulting, founded by powerhouse Jennifer Rasmussen-Sagan, has over 25 years of experience advising candidates, government leaders, high-level executives, and non-profits. Known for her positive and calm demeanor, she provides a level of confidentiality typical of top-tier advisors. Her unparalleled expertise with elected officials and corporate leaders makes her the go-to person for solving problems and achieving results.

She began her career as a fundraiser during the 1992 Presidential Campaign. Since then, she has worked on numerous campaigns, chaired various finance committees, and built a successful track record as a campaign manager across multiple races. Her experience spans Presidential, Senate, gubernatorial, municipal, and legislative campaigns, among others, and includes work for various political parties. 

 

As Nashville’s Chief of Staff and Omaha’s Deputy Chief of Staff, she successfully managed a $6 million office budget, ensuring fiscal responsibility and strategic allocation of resources. Her leadership was pivotal in passing significant legislation for Nashville’s East Bank development, and she has played key roles in major projects such as the $1 billion Titans Stadium, the development of Omaha’s Riverfront, and the Omaha College World Series Stadium. These accomplishments showcase her capability to drive major projects from conception to completion.

Jennifer's expertise extends to crisis management; she has led team communication efforts during critical incidents, including the mass casualty event at the Covenant School, the COVID-19 pandemic, and the 2020 Nashville Christmas morning bombing.

Key to her success has been her ability to foster strong relationships and drive cross-functional collaboration. She has recruited, mentored, and supervised diverse teams, enhancing the operational efficiency of the organizations she has served. As a strategic advisor, Jennifer has partnered with senior staff on priority initiatives, including communications strategy, public policy legislation, grant applications, and government relations.
